The first thing that you need to think about when looking for commercial property is deciding how much space you will need.
Office and Medical Space
- 3 people per 1000 sq/ft for general office space.
- Medical is more concentrated. Closer to 6 people per 1000 sq/ft.
Industrial Space
- Depends mostly on how much storage is needed.
- Consider storing vertically to sale money on real estate space.
Retail and Restaurant Space
- Break rooms, offices, storage spaces, etc. all cost money when it comes to retail real estate.
- Restaurants usually fit about 1 person per 15 sq/ft.
